William F. Guilford, Jr.

Before private practice, William interned and wrote legal decisions for The Honorable Sidney H. Stein of the United States District Court, Southern District of New York. William prides himself in being a student of the law. William stays current on recent case and statutory law and provides his clients with the legal counsel of the highest caliber. William takes time to educate his clients and he provides them with the counsel they need to make confident and informed decisions. William is highly respected by his peers and, as a result, was chosen to serve on a judicial screening committee to interview and screen prospective judges. William is a graduate of Tuskegee University and New York University School of Law. While at NYU, William was a Dean’s scholarship recipient and an active member of local and national black law students’ associations. As a law student William also served as a mentor to local NYC youth. As an undergraduate student at Tuskegee University, William was voted “Mr. Tuskegee” by the student body in recognition of his academic achievements and his commitment to campus service organizations. William maintains a commitment to service today, serving on the Board of Directors of a community outreach program in New York City and volunteering at youth basketball camps near his home in New Jersey and his hometown in Alabama.
